Award-winning composer / singer-songwriter, Ashton Wolf, will perform a concert of his original music (along with some favorite classic songs) in a concert at the Newport Syndicate on October 1, 2010 beginning at 8:30 PM. He will be joined on stage with his 16 piece band comprised of some of the finest musicians in the greater Cincinnati area including: "Mad Dog" Mavridoglou, Karl Dappen, Art Caddell, Doug Quadrano, Mark Samson, Samantha Carlson, Jacklynn Fraser, Steve Ellerman, Sandy Thorne, Aaron Porter, Robb MacFarlane, Ryan Thielman, Elliana Kirsh and more...
After graduating from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC, Ashton has performed in movies, on television and in concert halls, theatres and other venues across the country. He recently was seen as the dancing, hip-hop Abe Lincoln in a national commercial for Value City Furniture and in a local commercial for Sherzinger.
He has toured with the Van Dells and has worked with such Hollywood Notables as Meryl Streep, John Goodman, Dan Ackroyd and Bruce Willis (to name a few).

Ashton has written and scored the music for three original musicals: “Jack of All Trades,” received six Drama Logue Awards (Including Ashton‘s award for Best Director). “Coming Home” was produced by Cal State, Los Angeles and “Club Morocco” is currently being performed in theaters across the Country. In addition, Ashton has received awards from The Southern California Motion Picture Council as well as a RECOGNTION OF PERFORMANCE AWARD from the LOS ANGELES TIMES.
Choreographer for the show, Barbara Cullen, attended the College Conservatory of Music and was the resident Choreographer at the Derby Dinner Playhouse in Louisville, KY and is now Directing and Choreographing at the Encore Theatre in Dexter Michigan. She also taught choreography and dance at the University of Louisville.
Ashton performs regularly at Gangsters Dueling Piano Bar located next to the Syndicate.
